NEW AUDI Q7 2025 REVEALED
Celebrating its ninth birthday, the Audi Q7 has undergone its second facelift, demonstrating Audi's commitment to extending the life cycles of its model generations. This latest update underscores the brand's strategy of maximizing vehicle platforms, suggesting that a complete overhaul is not on the immediate horizon.
A New Face and Enhanced Technology
While the 2025 Audi Q7 does not represent the start of a new generation, it does come with a significant facelift. One of the first noticeable changes is the completely revised front grille design. Previously flat, the grille now features a honeycomb pattern, which also leads to modifications in the lower air intakes. The headlight design resembles the previous model but now includes laser-assisted HD Matrix technology with customizable features. Although the engine details remain unknown, it's expected that the Q7 will be available with a variety of gasoline and diesel options. This model is anticipated to be Audi's last with an internal combustion engine.
Comparing the images of the 2020 Q7 and the 2025 Q7, the new version showcases a bolder front grille, with vertical slats and higher-positioned headlights contributing to its imposing street presence. The rear also benefits from digital OLED lighting technology offering customizable light signatures, a first for the Q7 series. New color options like Sakhir Gold, Ascari Blue, and Chili Red, along with new wheel designs ranging from 20" to 22", offer buyers more personalization choices. Inside, the cabin ambiance is enhanced with contrast stitching on the seats and updated decorative trims like Natural Walnut and Decomposed Silver. Technology upgrades include new app integrations for music streaming services like Spotify and Amazon Music. Driver assistance features have been enhanced to display more alerts in the digital instrument cluster.
New Audi Q7 Engine and Performance
The new Audi Q7 offers a choice of four engines: two diesel and two petrol. The range starts with a 3.0-liter V6 diesel engine producing 231 hp, or the same engine can be tuned to 286 hp. There's also a 3.0-liter V6 petrol engine with 340 hp. All these V6 engines can tow up to 3.5 tons and are paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. At the top of the range is the V8 SQ7, featuring a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged petrol engine producing 507 hp. All engines are coupled with an eight-speed Tiptronic transmission and come with mild hybrid systems aimed at reducing fuel consumption, increasingly important in today's environmentally conscious world.
New Audi Q7 Price
Set to hit the European market in the coming months, the new Audi Q7's entry-level models start at €79,300 (approximately $94,000), reflecting its premium segment positioning. For those seeking the highest performance wrapped in luxury, the SQ7 starts at €112,000 (approximately $133,000). These prices place the vehicles within reach of discerning consumers looking for a blend of prestige and practicality.
