Tesla's Autonomous Driving Feature Coming to Europe
After prolonged legal negotiations, Tesla has announced its acceptance of necessary regulations for its autopilot system in Europe. This move paves the way for Tesla to offer Full Self-Driving (FSD) functionality in Europe and Turkey.
Tesla's Full Self-Driving (FSD) feature promises owners a driving experience that goes beyond ordinary comfort and safety. This technology advances autopilot capabilities, allowing the car to make real-time decisions on complex city roads and highways. The advanced driving support offered by Tesla FSD not only saves time for users but also helps them navigate stressful driving conditions.
Regulations jointly published by the European Economic Commission and the United Nations Economic and Social Council will be used to verify autonomous driving systems and event/data recording systems for autonomous vehicles. In Europe, it is expected that Tesla will receive its first licenses in the coming months, with FSD gradually becoming available to vehicle owners starting October 2024.
Tesla Full Self-Driving Features Include:- Navigate on Autopilot
- Automatic lane changes
- Autopark
- Summoning the car
- Full self-driving computer
- Traffic light and stop sign control
